'Browse' for installation folder is grayed out

Post by Greg »

Hi,

I'd like to install Media Preview 1.4 in W 8.1 x64 to a custom destination. In the 'Custom Setup' window I see a 'Browse' button, however it's grayed out, I can choose it. How can install the program to a location of my choice?
Thanks.

You can't choose the destination folder on purpose. As Media Preview must integrate the system as a shell component, there aren't any reasons to put it in another location than in the system program folder, which is c:\program files\ in most configurations. Moreover on x64 systems, Media Preview is installed in c:\program files for the 64-bit version and at the same time in c:\program files (x86) for the 32-bit version.
