Hey,

I'm getting two errors appearing for each thumbnail generated in Media Preview v1.4.1.415. I'm using Windows 8.1 64-bit.

To test I set the settings back to default (unchecked "Customize" checkbox) and the error messages went away. The setting I normally set are:

1) Check "Customize" checkbox
2) Change "Max Retry Count" to 5
3) Change "Scaling Method" to "Luma Bicubic / Chroma Bilinear"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It seems that there is something wrong with Luma Bicubic and Sinc scaling methods. Everything else is working fine. I'll try to come up with a fix by Saturday.

Ok the issue is really only with Luma Bicubic/Chroma Bilinear. But this bug lies within FFmpeg itself and is not coming from Media Preview. So I reported the bug to the FFmpeg team. They are usually fast to act on this kind of bugs. But then I cannot tell when it will be fixed as it's not dependent on me anymore. I'll get back on this thread with more news, hopefully with a definitive fix.

I proposed a way to fix this bug to the FFmpeg team as I found out what triggers it.

The guys of FFmpeg already fixed the issue on their side. So, I'll release the new minor version at the end of this week.
