MPEG won't open in IE for WMP

It used to open WMP and now it don't.
Could this be related to Media Preview?

Media Preview doesn't modify anything in your system apart from the thumbnailing capabilities of Windows Explorer.
So I don't know why mpg files won't open with WMP anymore, but it's probably because you tried to change file associations with VLC Player and Winamp before, when trying to fix the FLV format issue.
You can simply go to WMP options to re-associate mpg files with it.

OK I figured it out.
If I use VLC as default on .mpg files, IE gives the message in my screenshot.
